How to buy a phone number
Go to your agent, and scroll all the way down until you see the Phone setup section. Here you can choose the country you want to buy a phone number from, and specify the area code for US phone numbers.
If you have the right one, click buy and you'll be redirected to the checkout for $5 per month. Or when you are on a paid plan you'll have 1 or more phone numbers included.
After the number is bought, the number should show under the agent's name (see below), and is ready to accept inbound calls if you have added it to an inbound agent. Give it a try by calling it!

No, you don't! For outbound agents, you can share a phone number with another agent, so you don't need to pay for a separate one. This means that if you have 10 outbound agents, they can all make outbound calls using the same phone number. For inbound agents, you will need to buy a phone number for each one.

For phone numbers from some countries, the government requires you to provide information about you or your business before they let you buy a phone number. If that is the case, you can see the requirements for your country here. The best way is to buy a phone number in tTilio yourself and then import it to us.
