What to change:
Step 1: Make the agent wait longer before replying:
Go to Agents > Custom agents > choose your agent
In the 'Setup tab', locate and open the 'Advanced voice settings'.
Set "Reply speed" to 0.9
This helps the agent avoid mixing up noise with real speech
Step 2: Make interrupting harder:
In the 'Setup tab', open the 'Advanced voice settings'.
Set "Ease of interrupting the agent" to 0.8
This helps the agent tell the difference between background noise and someone trying to speak
Extra noisy places?
If you're in very noisy places (like construction sites), try making these numbers even higher.
