Adjust your agent's settings to handle background noise better, like on construction sites or busy streets.

What to change:

Step 1: Make the agent wait longer before replying:

  1. Go to your agent’s settings

  2. In the 'Setup tab', locate and open the 'Advanced voice settings'.

  3. Set "Reply speed" to 0.9

  4. This helps the agent avoid mixing up noise with real speech

Step 2: Make interrupting harder:

  • Go to the same settings, the 'Advanced voice settings'.

  • Set "Ease of interrupting the agent" to 0.8

  • This helps the agent tell the difference between background noise and someone trying to speak

Extra noisy places?

If you're in very noisy places (like construction sites), try making these numbers even higher.
